Craig Carr, Owner & President
Craig has been with Lakey Electric since 1983. He is a proud graduate of Texas A&M University with a background in industrial, commercial, and residential construction. Craig handles the daily operation of the company, along with project management and estimating. Craig is a dedicated leader who leads with purpose, integrity, and has a deep commitment to putting Lakey’s customers and employees at the heart of every decision.




Deanna Lakey Carr, Owner & Finance Manager
Since 1990, Deanna proudly continues the legacy of her parents, Louise and Carl Lakey, stepping into leadership with deep respect for the foundation they built and a clear vision for the future. Having grown up around the business, she developed an early appreciation for the company’s values, work ethic, and commitment to excellence. Deanna is responsible for daily operations, finances, and overall growth at Lakey Electric.




Steve Thomson, V.P. Operations
Steve has been with Lakey Electric since 1994 and currently serves as V.P. Steve is responsible for revenue growth, operational efficiency & processes, and leading/developing the Lakey team. Steve is a graduate of Sam Houston State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Technology, emphasis in Design and Development, and also holds a Master Electrician license.
