Our Team

Craig Carr, Owner and President

Craig has been with Lakey Electric since 1983. He is a proud graduate of Texas A&M University with a background in industrial, commercial, and residential construction. Craig handles the daily operation of the company, along with project management and estimating.

Steve Thomson, V.P. 

Steve has been with Lakey Electric since 1994 and currently serves as Estimator, Designer, and Project Manager. Steve is a graduate of Sam Houston State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Technology,  emphasis in Design and Development, as well as a Master Electrician license. 

Kyle Gilmore, V.P. Superintendent 

Kyle has been with Lakey Electric since 1994 and is now serving as Field Construction Coordinator. Kyle has been working in the Electrical field since 1978. He works closely with the Field Supervisors to maintain project completion dates and control labor and material cost. 

Matt Wells, Senior Estimator

Matt started with Lakey Electric in 1994. Matt worked his way up through the field and is currently handling a majority of the estimating and project development duties for the company.

Corey Radant, Service

Corey started his career with the company in 1997 and now handles the Service Department with a fleet of 7 trucks performing service work and projects.
